"Yes there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road you're on." * Camden Avenue Going North or South on Hwy 85, take the Camden Avenue offramp at Branham. When you exit, get onto Camden going south. Continue on Camden for approximately 3 miles. On your right, just as you near the Guadalupe Mines and Colman Road junction, you'll see a street sign for Hicks Road.
Turn right onto Hicks and veer to the left each time you reach a junction or fork in the road. Note: Speed limit is 30MPH along Hicks. Drive slow. Watch for bicyclist, joggers, wild things and speeding cars careening around corners.



Old Almaden Road Going North or South on Hwy 85, take the Almaden Expressway offramp. When you exit, take the expressway south. Continue on Almaden for approximately 6 miles. On your right, you'll see a street sign for Old Almaden Road. Turn right and continue 4-5 miles passing through the little town of New Almaden. You are now on Alamitos Road which winds its way past Almaden Reservoir. In September/October, watch for tarantulas migrating across the road. As you near the end of the reservoir, you'll come to a junction on your right with a rustic sign reading Hicks Road. Note: Speed limit is 30MPH along Hicks. Drive slow. Watch for bicyclist, joggers, wild things and speeding cars careening around corners
